Social Media for Professional Collaboration

On the eve of the Social Media and Critical Care (#SMACC2013) conference held in Sydney, @Hughstephens will moderate a #hcsmanz chat Sunday 10 March talking about using social media to collaborate with other professionals.

Previously we’ve discussed how social media can be used at a live event such as conferences (or web conferences) but what happens after? There has been a rise in professional collaboration: whether for research, for disseminating information or for professional development.

In the chat we’ll discuss what ways people have experienced the opportunities social media can offer for professional collaboration, people’s experiences and suggestions for how you can best leverage the people you meet to foster ongoing relationships.

The chat is at 9pm Sydney time (world times: http://dlgcns.lt/Z7X3LJ ) on Sunday 10 March.

We’d recommend using the TweetChat tool to help you, accessible here: http://tweetchat.com/room/hcsmanz
